History
Future Tech Consultants (FTC) was founded in 1994 by Frank A. Luzi, Stephen Marchese, and Michael Marchese (all of which are Professional Engineers). In its ten-year history, FTC has evolved into an industry leader with over 90 employees. From the onset, the founders committed themselves to provide practical engineering solutions along with high quality customer service.

FTC has an impeccable reputation in the engineering, inspection, and materials testing industry. From its field Engineers to its office support team, we take pride in our professionalism, work completion and fast response time. These core commitments have propelled FTC to be an industry leader.

Company Overview
Our field force is comprised of Professional Engineers, Graduate Engineers, Certified Inspectors and technicians that allow FTC to provide its clients with a wide range of inspection services. The majority of our field personnel are multi-disciplined in inspection services therefore allowing FTC to provide our clients with cost-effective inspection solutions.

Our Geotechnical Engineering department has successfully established itself in the market. They design and propose economical and practical recommendations. Combined with our industry renowned quick response time, we are setting new standards in the geotechnical realm of the industry.

Our Non-Destructive Examinations (NDE) department performs Ultrasonic, Dye Penetrate, Magnetic Particle and Radiographic examinations on steel pipe. The staff is comprised of trained and certified crews that provide exemplary service. We are certified by the FAA as a repair shop as well as licensed by the New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).

FTC provides a full range of testing at our in-house Materials Testing Laboratory. We are licensed by the NYC Building Department, accredited by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) and approved by Governmental and State agencies. It is operated by American Concrete Institute (ACI) and National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) trained and certified technicians.

FTC incorporates state of the art technology and equipment to provide highly specialized testing procedures. Specialty Testing yields useful information critical to the progress of a project. Results from specialty testing allow for the determination of the integrity of existing materials and structures as well as viability of materials scheduled for use on a project. .
