1155 Avenue of the Americas is a 41-story building with 790,000 square feet. Architectural upgrades made to the property include a newly appointed entrance on West 44th Street featuring seating and a landscaped plaza; a dramatic, new light-filled lobby interior with security desks clad in distinctive back-lit sea-glass and turnstile security access; and new destination dispatch elevator controls as well as elevator cabs. The building also features a dramatic new curtain wall at its four chamfered corners and low iron energy efficient casement windows. Systems upgrades include: high efficiency ECM fan wall technology, coils and motors provide tenants with floor by floor service were also installed to promote energy efficiency.
